AMA: What do you love most about research?

What I love most about research is the strategy and creativity that goes into each project.

You have to think about what methodologies are going to be most effective, who you should recruit, how you’re going to get participants to open up, and effective lines of questioning to answer your objectives.

Then you have to figure out what the story is going to be; how are you going to thread together everything you’ve learned into something relevant and effective for your audience?

Research work is never the same, despite there being a lot of processes required in it, and I love figuring out how we’re going to make it all come together.
